I temi sono i più disparati: dall’amore all’emigrazione alla guerra, ma anche l’amore, la protesta, la satira.
La melodia proposta tocca il tema dell’emigrazione. Il dolore della coppia nell’addio sembra dissolversi nel canto sommesso e profondo come un universo pittorico nell’eternità di un momento.

Questo perché è senz'altro il principale canto partigiano titoista jugoslavo dell'epoca della II guerra mondiale. Da una chiacchierata con lei è nata questa canzone. E' una visione completamente diversa, perché lei ha "visto l'Africa con gli occhi dell'aquila".
