About the backwards media portrayal of resistance struggles around the world - Palestinian Intifada and the Iraqi resistance to the ongoing occupation (ordinary people being portrayed as terrorists, when they are only resisting illegal occupation).
Bush and Blair's nomination for the Nobel Peace prize was farcical (?!?!!) as well as Kissinger actually winning it!. Also, a Time magazine cover shamefully displayed a Palestinian, mourning at a funeral, with the headline "The New Face of Terrorism." The Palestinian man was holding a gun as is custom with such funerals.

Kimberly Rivera was the first woman US soldier to have sought asylum in our country to avoid being deployed to Iraq. Since moving to Toronto with her family a year and a half ago, the 26-year-old Iraq War veteran and mother of two has confronted struggles both personal and political: estrangement from her family back in Texas, long periods of unemployment and, above all, the imminent threat of deportation. Kimberly would not have it any other way. To Canada's first female defector from the United States military, her adopted home is a "peaceful environment, somewhere I can raise my family, somewhere I can be me".
The American military calls people like Kimberly "deserters". To their supporters in Canada and the US, they are "war resisters."

The satirical magazine Frank proposed alternatives to CCRAP, namely SSHIT and NSDAP.
The 10 Year anniversary edition of the song written when CCRAP party formed - now the Conservative Party. Different name, but same old crap!
