SENZA PADRONE sogni e storie dell’impresa a proprietà collettiva.
(GP. Bigazzi – S. Manetti – M. Cavallo)
senza padrone

But as we hit the final strip of yellow land
with the big brown cloud behind our backs
we felt trapped - gone for good
between the cloud of brown, the yellow sand, the sea of blue
and as the pursuing horses' hooves beat the desert sand
we turned around and gave up
the old man kept saying, have faith in me
I'll part the waters now
but hey, who could trust him
he had too wild a look under that brow

װוּ לעבענס װעלקן בײַ מאַשינען;

And while the giant led the army down the hill
trampling helpless people
ravaging the land along his way
young David still lingered
as everybody turned and tried to escape
he watched the warrior that nobody could withstand
a feeling nagging insistently at his back
in some way, for sure
he could or should have managed something more
but he shrugged, and joined the flight
a useless sling discarded on the floor

אַ שקלאַף בין איך, װוּ קײטן קלינגען;

Ne me cherche pas
Tu ne me trouveras pas
Mon amour

װוּ טרערן רינען, צײנער קריצן;
