Canzone di anonimo aviere britannico risalente alla prima guerra mondiale.
Fa parte della colonna sonora del film di Richard Attenborough “Oh! What a Lovely War” (1969) versione cinematografica del musical teatrale omonimo di Joan Littlewood ed il suo Theatre Workshop (1963) che a sua volta era basato sulle opere "The Donkeys" di Alan Clark e "The Good Soldier Švejk" di Jaroslav Hašek.
