Quand on pense que Boris Vian est mort de surmenage... En réalité, il n'arrêtait pas de « travailler », ce qui incite à penser qu'il y a travail et travail. Quand Marcia Rosati, la « Trouvetout » nous l'a proposée du rythme des vers et bien évidemment du titre, il nous est venu le soupçon, transformé en certitude au vu de la vidéo de la chanson. Il s'agissait bien du « Déserteur suédois », chanté sur la musique (arrangée) de Boris Vian et Harold Berg, mais avec un texte totalement original. Un texte tout-à-fait à la Vreeswijk soit dit en passant à ceux qui ont la chance de connaître cet Hollandais qui s'est mis à écrire et à chanter en suédois. Trovo che più che raccontare la storia di Camil questo brano voglia da un lato sottolineare che Mr. Camil avrebbe fatto meglio a non arruolarsi e dall'altro chiedere al veterano se veramente ha capito cosa ha fatto e se ne pente. Una bella canzone, scritta "a caldo".

Una curiosità. Avevo letto la notizia e visto il video su Ta Nea online, ma non avevo trattenuto il nome dell'animale. Per tradurre il titolo ho cercato invano su tutti i miei dizionari. Curiosamente, su quello del gergo di strada ho trovato la parola κασίδης e l'espressione στου κασίδη το κεφάλι, che si significa "dare una botta improvvisa a un indifeso che non se la aspetta". Kassidis sarebbe dunque un indifeso che le busca a tradimento: però un Kassidiaris potrebbe essere quello che si diverte a menare i deboli. Nomen omen?...(gpt)

Per come la vedo io musicalmente questo è il pezzo peggiore dell'album, che invece considero nel complesso molto bello anche perchè - salvo appunto questo brano - è registrato tutto dal vivo. Ci si trovano secondo me bellissime versioni di "Raise a voice", "Barrel of pain", "Dark star", "Blackbird" (Lennon/Mc Cartney) e "For what it's worth". E' purtroppo Crosby che manca, perchè in quel periodo era nel bel mezzo del tunnel della droga da cui non si pensava avrebbe potuto più uscire. Quindi l'Atlantic rispolverò 2 sue belle registrazioni dal vivo di qualche anno prima, tra cui "He played real good for free" (o semplicemente "For free") di Joni Mitchell, un pezzo bellissimo cantato magistralmente. Era infatti svanito nel nulla il testo greco di Εκίνησαν και πἀνε, probabilmente a causa del sottoscritto durante la costruzione della "paginona". Intendo un po' questa revisione totale della sezione greca come un lungo viaggio per un oceano costellato di isole, una vera e propria Odissea in senso letterale. Un oceano è formato da parecchi mari; e navigando per il Mar di Theodorakis, arrivo oggi all'isola di questa canzone, di questa poesia di Seferis. Ed è un'isola che deve contenere una qualche Nausicaa, poiché, ad esempio, per scegliere una foto che la accompagnasse ci ho messo mezza giornata. Il Μυθιστόρημα di Seferis e la musica carcerata di Theodorakis; ne ha da offrire, la Grecia, di Nausìche; e, a pensarci bene, anche in questo nome è contenuta la "nave". "Eccellente nel fabbricar le navi", ΝαυσικάFα.

Su 24 vittime del terremoto in Emilia, più della metà sono operai. Tornati al lavoro troppo presto, dentro capannoni troppo poco sicuri. Ai lavoratori è stato chiesto di pagare il prezzo più alto per la crisi, e lo stanno pagando anche con la vita.
Come mai?
Dei complottisti che s'ingegnano a spiegare le ragioni fantageofisiche del terremoto, dei millenaristi fuori tempo massimo che studiano gli allineamenti astrogeologici, ce n'è uno che voglia spiegare questo, che voglia rispondere a questa domanda del millennio?
Come mai, come mai, sempre in culo agli operai?
Perché a ogni crisi si cercano i soldi sempre dove ce n'è di meno, si chiede di pagare sempre a chi ha già pagato, si spedisce a morire per primo, in una trincea o in un capannone, sempre chi ha già avuto una vita più dura?
