A new song itinerary is born: Nursery rhymes, Merry-go-rounds, Lullabies and other Anti-war Songs for Childhood. It is designed as a guide for the youngest, or a small "educational" collection for teachers. This itinerary won't automatically include all kinds of lullabies or nursery rhymes: only real anti-war songs find their place there, be they against “classic” war or the “100,000 years war”, war against the Earth or against animals etc. Likewise, the itinerary won't include all the lullabies or nursery rhymes labeled as such in the website, if they aren't directed to children.

Da una lingua locale (specialmente nel caso del napoletano, anticamente e letterariamente assai illustre fino ai giorni nostri) è difficile, se non impossibile, tradurre adeguatamente in italiano comune, anche senza nessun “intendimento d'arte”. La lingua locale è quella che si succhia assieme al latte fin dalla nascita; figuriamoci se, poi, il presupposto “traduttore” non appartiene neppure a quella data area linguistica. E' il mio caso: come sono solito dire, ho un'infinitamente maggiore consuetudine con lo svedese o con il greco, che col napoletano. Ciononostante, ogni tanto mi piglia l'ùzzolo di confrontarmi con questo genere di cosa, sempre che ne valga la pena; e, per questo componimento, drammatico e duro, del grande Ferdinando Russo, secondo me la vale. Mi dispiaceva vederlo qui “solo e abbandonato” in una pagina fin dal... (Continues)

Little Joe performed the song, a Mexican-American, born in Temple, Texas (17 October 1940), as José María De León Hernández. This political song helped established him as a major artist in the 1960s Chicano movement. He founded the record label Buena Suerte Records in 1968, based in Temple, TX. (1) (2) (3) The narration saw the soldier expressing sympathy towards his mother, father, and girlfriend, telling them that "if in combat I find death, I wouldn't want you to cry". The narrator also said that as he headed off to war, taken away from his family, he regretted fighting with his father. Una canzone sulla sulla paura e sull’umanità contemporanea, sulle sue atrocità, il suo spavento, la sua capacità violenta, ma anche sulla rivolta della Natura. “LA TERRA SBATTE” (distribuito da Nufaco) è il nuovo singolo della cantautrice e clarinettista romana Agnese Valle, che anticipa l’uscita del suo terzo album dal titolo “RISTRUTTURAZIONI”, che vedrà le stampe nella primavera del 2020. Il brano, si avvale della collaborazione della Piccola Orchestra di Tor Pignattara composta di ragazzi e ragazze, immigrati di seconda generazione, e diretta da Pino Pecorelli.

Prostřednictvím metafory osob přivázaných ke kůlu obhajoval nutnost bojovat za svobodu v kontextu diktátorského režimu generála Franka, v přeneseném slova smyslu potom i za nezávislost Katalánska na Španělsku a Francii. Píseň se rychle stala jakousi hymnou za svobodu a symbolem boje proti útlaku a velice se zpopularizovala v celém světě. For conspiring to kill a Nazi officer, the Germans sent Kulisiewicz's teenage half-sister Łucja to the Ravensbrück concentration camp in 1944. On learning of her imprisonment, Kulisiewicz wrote this ballad, a fantasy-compilation of childhood legends and folktales whose villains, heroes, and strange, twisting plots brought to mind aspects of his own experience of life in a concentration camp. In the song, the wolf is based on the title character of a favorite childhood tale of Kulisiewicz, Bajka o żelaznym wilku (Story of the Steel Wolf, 1911) of Wacław Sieroszewski. The dragon was a legendary nemesis of early Polish settlers. Krak was a mythical dragon-slayer and founder of Krakow. Queen Wanda succeeded to the throne upon the death of her father, Krak, but drowned herself in the Vistula River rather than marry... (Continues)

In 1970, Martha and the Vandellas released the Vietnam single I Should Be Proud, which leaned towards the anti-war side of the debate and displayed an interesting change in opinion on the war from 1968-1970.
