Il secondo tempo
Caro mio,
avrei immaginato di tutto tranne che scriverti da qui e per questi motivi. Poi “la primavera è arrivata senza un colpo di tosse, la mattina presto, come se nulla fosse”, e ti ha portato con sé.
So che oltre le nuvole c’è un posto in cui ci troveremo ancora tutti; con le solite facce, i soliti modi, le solite canzoni, la solita irrequietezza. Un locale con palco e tutto quanto, che – nel mio immaginario – continua a chiamarsi Uonna Club. So che è li che stai.
(Chiaro che io al Uonna Club, quello vero, non c’ero. Lo sai, sono del 77: sono nato col punk ma l’ho frequentato molto, molto piu’ tardi. Eppure vi ho conosciuti, anche se tardi e non tutti. E da ciascuno di voi, vecchi matti, ho imparato qualcosa).

Che spettacolo, Krzysiek. Quest’anno nessuna data italiana?
Tempo fa la volevo fare anch’io una traduzione di questa canzone, l’estate scorsa nell’entusiasmo dopo il concerto a Pistoia... Poi, oltre a certe mie (non poche) difficoltà con il bosniaco, mi ero accorta che gli stessi Dubioza avevano già fatto una versione italiana (e non solo) che si può vedere in forma di sottotitoli nel video ufficiale su youtube. L’avevi vista, Riccardo? Se no, magari ci puoi trovare qualche chiarimento, o piuttosto conferma. A mio parere, la tua traduzione è più precisa.

Civil War
Buonasera, volevo chiedere un consiglio che mi darebbe un aiuto grande con la mia tesina.
Per il mio esame di maturità ho deciso di portare come argomento "IL MURO", non solo dal punto di vista storico ( muro di Berlino) ma anche sociale.Per collegarmi con Orwell vorrei trattare prima le tematiche di "civil war" dei Guns n roses. Se avete gentilmente qualche idea su cose impostare la presentazione, dato che è una canzone tra le più profonde e spazia su tantissime tematiche. Grazie infinite

Il ritornello "Lay the bent to the bonnie broom" non esiste nella Child #10, l'hanno inventato i Pentangle nel 1970 e da allora è praticamente diventato parte integrante della ballata.
