Proseguendo col mio...diario di bordo nel Mar di Theodorakis (Θεοδωράκιος Πόντος, Theodoracius Pontus), devo dire che questa doveva essere proprio la pagina delle sparizioni. Era infatti svanito nel nulla il testo greco di Εκίνησαν και πἀνε, probabilmente a causa del sottoscritto durante la costruzione della "paginona". E' stato restaurato grazie a Stixoi (che, più che un oceano, è la Fossa delle Marianne, l'Abisso delle Curili della canzone greca...)

Intendo un po' questa revisione totale della sezione greca come un lungo viaggio per un oceano costellato di isole, una vera e propria Odissea in senso letterale. Un oceano è formato da parecchi mari; e navigando per il Mar di Theodorakis, arrivo oggi all'isola di questa canzone, di questa poesia di Seferis. Ed è un'isola che deve contenere una qualche Nausicaa, poiché, ad esempio, per scegliere una foto che la accompagnasse ci ho messo mezza giornata. Il Μυθιστόρημα di Seferis e la musica carcerata di Theodorakis; ne ha da offrire, la Grecia, di Nausìche; e, a pensarci bene, anche in questo nome è contenuta la "nave". "Eccellente nel fabbricar le navi", ΝαυσικάFα.

C'est une chanson, qu'Ascanio Celestini et Alessio Lega interprètent ensemble ou chacun de son côté. Je dis « ils interprètent » au présent, parce qu'Alessio la chante déjà dans ses concerts, qu'il présente dans un décor tout-à-fait réaliste. C'est une chanson, qu'Ascanio Celestini et Alessio Lega interprètent ensemble ou chacun de son côté. Je dis « ils interprètent » au présent, parce qu'Alessio la chante déjà dans ses concerts, qu'il présente dans un décor tout-à-fait réaliste. On dit que la situation actuelle des travailleurs, et des pas-travailleurs, est justement un "calvaire"; et voilà que, tranquille et sulfureux Ascanio Celestini nous emmène comme d'habitude vraiment là. Sur le Calvaire ou le Golgotha, comme on veut. C'est un hyper-Calvaire, celui-ci, que nous pouvons voir chaque jour et où nous allons faire les courses ; un Calvaire fait de (dernières) cènes épuisées, de nuits entre d'infinies journées... E' un'angosciosa manifestazione del disagio di vivere negli USA con una guerra in atto (Vietnam). C'è il ricordo/rimpianto dell'infanzia, l'incertezza del futuro, la tristezza disperata della guerra, la denuncia dell'assurdità della guerra che tutto avvelena.
Un po' come Jackson Browne scrisse "For Everyman" in risposta a "Wooden Ships" di Crosby/Kantner/Stills, Stephen Stills scrisse "We are not Helpless" in risposta a questo brano.

Su 24 vittime del terremoto in Emilia, più della metà sono operai. Tornati al lavoro troppo presto, dentro capannoni troppo poco sicuri. Ai lavoratori è stato chiesto di pagare il prezzo più alto per la crisi, e lo stanno pagando anche con la vita.
Come mai?
Dei complottisti che s'ingegnano a spiegare le ragioni fantageofisiche del terremoto, dei millenaristi fuori tempo massimo che studiano gli allineamenti astrogeologici, ce n'è uno che voglia spiegare questo, che voglia rispondere a questa domanda del millennio?
Come mai, come mai, sempre in culo agli operai?
Perché a ogni crisi si cercano i soldi sempre dove ce n'è di meno, si chiede di pagare sempre a chi ha già pagato, si spedisce a morire per primo, in una trincea o in un capannone, sempre chi ha già avuto una vita più dura?

We Are Not Helpless
Sia "Helpless" di Neil Young che "We are Not Helpless" di Stephen Stills sono bellissime canzoni contro la guerra (del Vietnam). Questa, scritta come "risposta" alla prima, cerca di comunicare entusiasmo e fiducia nel cambiamento ormai in atto, dando per certo il successo, incitando a non cedere alla tristezza e allo sconforto che la guerra stava gettando su quella generazione.
"We are not helpless" è anche un verso di "Raise a voice" scritta molti anni dopo da Graham Nash e Stephen Stills, usato nello stesso senso.
In entrambi i casi non c'è una contrapposizione con "Helpless" di Neil Young, in cui l'autore comunica l'angoscia, la disperazione, la paranoia per la guerra in corso, usando questa chiave per manifestare dissenso.
"We are not helpless" è anche un verso di "Raise a voice" scritta molti anni dopo da Graham Nash e Stephen Stills, usato nello stesso senso.

Cette chanson parle de tous les soldats morts à la guerre et qui reviennent enveloppés dans le « tricolore » pour rendre honneur à ce que nous appelons patrie.

Ahahahaha..., rugit Lucien l'âne d'un rire qu'on ne peut que qualifier d'homérique... En voilà une bien bonne, un vrai régal cette chanson... Saluons ceux qui l'ont écrite en y glissant un grain de sel d'ironie... Rien qu'à lire son titre, je riais déjà tant il me rappelait cet autre héros qui mangeait lui aussi le drapeau : Le Salut au Drapeau.

Le progrès... Le progrès... On n'a plus que ce mot-là à la bouche.
Certes, tu as raison, Lucien l'âne mon ami. Cependant, avec ce mot-là, ils ont mené les gens par le bout du nez depuis des années et des années et malheur à qui mettait en doute ce postulat... C'est une des plus grandes escroqueries de tous les temps... Cette idée de progrès...
Comment ça, Marco Valdo M.I., mon ami. Tu ne vas quand même pas me dire que tu es contre le « progrès ». C'est inimaginable d'être aussi rétrograde. Tu ne veux quand même pas revenir aux origines de la civilisation européenne, aux temps de Monsieur de Cro-Magnon...
