I wish he’d say to you: “Mom will be right back!” I’m not alone tonight I’m trespassing tonight And here he is Standing guard | אַלְאַסַדּ (הָאַרְיֵה) (וְאִם לֹא אֶחְזֹר, מַה לָךְ יִהְיֶה?) מִישֶׁהוּ טָרַף אֶת הַיָּרֵחַ, הָאוֹר הַיָּחִיד קוֹל נַהֲמָה עָמוֹק אֶת הַשֶּׁקֶט מַחֲרִיד יָדַי עֲמוּסוֹת קְנִיּוֹת הַלַּיְלָה, וְהַדֶּרֶךְ אֲרֻכָּה – אֵינָהּ נִגְמֶרֶת אֵינֶנִּי לְבַד הַלַּיְלָה אֲנִי מַסִּיגַת גְּבוּל הַלַּיְלָה, וְהִנֵּה הוּא לְפָנַי עוֹמֵד עַל הַמִּשְׁמֶרֶת אִם יֶשְׁנָה עֶזְרָה – הִיא רְחוֹקָה אִם יֶשְׁנָה תִּקְוָה – הִיא קְלוּשָׁה הֵיכָן אָדוֹן קַאסֵם הַלַּיְלָה? מְכַ'זִּן קַאתּ וּמְעַשֵּׁן? הַלְוַאי וְלָךְ יֹאמַר: "אִמָּא תֵּכֶף חוֹזֶרֶת!" אֵינֶנִּי לְבַד הַלַּיְלָה אֲנִי מַסִּיגַת גְּבוּל הַלַּיְלָה, וְהִנֵּה הוּא לְפָנַי עוֹמֵד עַל הַמִּשְׁמֶרֶת |
