[1] Il verso ha senz'altro un senso letterale: ad un cieco, una candela non serve per forza a niente. Ma si tenga presente anche un possibile doppio senso: le jeu ne vaut pas la chandelle, in italiano “il gioco non vale la candela”. Come dire: non vale la pena prendersela. |
