Une blonde passa
Dans une Impala
Avec son nouvel amant
À la recherche d'un motel bon marché.

Qui partaient en camping :

Le fils avait son air échevelé,
La fille avait un nœud dans les cheveux.

Comme on n’en avait jamais vu là.

Que c’était le ciel d’Hiroshima ?

Poussait comme un champignon

Avant qu’on accable tout haut
Ce monde bourreau.

John Wayne se leva,
John Ford broncha,
Marilyn Monroe, le sourire joyeux,
Cacha son visage dans ses cheveux.
Ainsi, on ne sait pas plus qu’elle
Ce que veut dire
Vivre et mourir.
Avec ce frisson de cellules rebelles
De celui qui dans la nuit, va
À la cuisine à pas discrets
Se chauffer un peu de lait,
De ce lait au goût d’Hiroshima.
