neverenoufh

Anti-war, anti-government, political song about the unfortunate people that die when bombed, especially the innocent ones.

"Being somewhat of a hippie and member of the Green Party, and listening to how corrupt our government is becoming, I decided to write a song describing how sad it must be to be those children and those people that did nothing to America, and yet have to suffer the consequences that people decide to make their lives a living Hell.."
Rockets flying higher into the sun
Children never have enough fun
We'll stick together 'til we all die
And now we know there's just never enough time..

If we all go, we can tell
We'll see each other in Heaven or Hell
And if we see that life is more than sublime
Then we'll find out that there's just never enough time

Children laugh and play while bombs fall down
They kill their hopes, their dreams, their family, and their town
Are we the ones to blame for all this devastation?
Are we the main result of a chaotic nation?
Why are we all so insecure in this land?
Do we reject ideas we don't understand?
When did "Kill People" mean "United We Stand"?
Was this all something that our governments planned?

If we all go, we can tell
We'll see each other in Heaven or Hell
And if we see that life is more than sublime
Then we'll find out that there's just never enough time..

No matter what happens, we all know
Condemned in Hell is where we're going to go
The scenes we see, they all are simply sublime
And now we know that there is never enough time....

Never enough time...

To live and die, the families cry
To love and save, their homes are their graves
To wait and pray, to hope that one day
The war will be over, we can all go back home..

If you support their hatred, just you see
Condemned in Hell is what you're going to be
The scenes we see, they all are simply sublime
And now we know that there is never enough time....

And the scenes we see they all are simply sublime
Now we know that there is never enough time....
