Nuclear Man was an anti-Bush anthem which commented on the situation reflecting the Iraq war, and the war on terror itself. The song is from the perspective of a politician who is having a crisis of conscience and is trying to come to terms with making what he feels is the right choice. Unfortunately, he is not stopping himself from his own hypocrisy and greed.

Whatever I say to you..you don't wanna hear
I'm in this business now...I'm trapped in the fear
We have another meetin tomorrow..about this thing
It could be the...big button I'll be pushin
There's so many calls to make...there's so many lives at stake
I'm an important man now...don't wanna let you down

I'm your nuclear man...I ain't from Japan
I ain't from overseas...Switch on your TVs
Who's that standin there...tellin you all the lies
Tellin you who to blame...baby say that name

You want me to apologize...but it's too late
I'm goin to have my war...I'm goin to have my cake
Who cares about those children...i've just destroyed
I always knew, when they saw us...they'd be so overjoyed
All the politicians should fight their own wars
All the politicians should fight their own wars
All the politicians should fight their own wars
All the politicians should fight their own wars

I'm your nuclear man...I ain't from Japan
I ain't from overseas...Switch on your TVs
Who's that standin there...tellin you all the lies
Tellin you who to blame...baby say that name

I'm tryin to find those weapons but...I don't know where
If I don't find some soon I'm goin to put some there

I'm your nuclear man...I ain't from Japan
And I ain't from overseas...Switch on your TVs
Who's that standin there...tellin you all the lies
Tellin you who to blame...baby say that name
