A centoventi centoventidue

A centoquaranta centoquarantadue
a centocinquanta centocinquantadue

A centosessanta centosessantadue
a centosessantaquattro mettene artre due

A centosessantotto ve sareste fermati
nun avreste convocato li sindacati

A centosessantotto ve sareste accontentati
a centosessantotto in pace c’avreste lasciati

A me che in matematica nun so' un campione

Io della matematica nun so un campione

168 HOURS A WEEK

If we worked for 40 hours
you would ask for 42
if we worked for 50 -52

If we worked for 60 – 62
if we worked for 70
you would ask for another 2

80 are not enough, better 82
for the new production from 90 to 92

If we worked for 100 hours – 102
at 110 on the newspapers you would ask for another 2

At 120- 122
we reached 130 please add another 2

At 140 -142
150-152

At 160-162

164 add other 2

At 168 you would have stopped to ask
you wouldn’t have called the unions

At 168 you would eventually have settled
at 168 you would have got off our back

I am not a math champion but a doubt comes to my head

I am not a math champion
but i have a little doubt that i’d like to expose

How much is 24*7 ?
168!

la la la master would like to spend our life in the factory
la la la what we want is work and dignity

la la la master would like to spend our life in the factory
la la la what we want is work and dignity
la la la what we want is work and dignity
la la la what we want is work and dignity
la la la what we want but they won't give it to us

Workers of all lands: wake up!

Combien peuvent donc bien faire vingt-quatre fois sept.... Telle est la question.

Mais 24 fois sept font

168 !

Le patron veut nous faire passer notre vie dans sa fabrique ;

Le patron veut nous faire passer notre vie dans sa fabrique ;
