Social Determinism And The Ants

I am a dying worker ant
crushed by all the weight of hierarchy
(and) while we’re dying down here
queens and kings fly above with their wings

some of us got wings
some of us don’t
whatever your dreams
you might not get what you want

I am a dying worker ant
left for dead within the factory
with the machines still running
those are beasts no worker alone can kill

we went on strike for dozens of weeks
many ants came back ‘cause they were too hungry
while kings and queens were busy laughing
‘cause they had too many leaves to eat

some of us got wings
some of us don’t
whatever your dreams
you might not get what you want

our antmill is rotten
from top to bottom
we got to change this world
from top to bottom

so if you feel like an ant
sing along man
YOU'RE NOT AN ANT
