resiste Stalingrado !

STALINGRAD

A black cross in the heart of my people
Death is creeping under the Russian sky
Men in uniform, looking like wolves
It's the 15th of September, and we feel hopeless...

From the ruins rises
the cry of women: "Soldiers, resist!"
Comrade marshal, remember our blood
our sacrifice stopped the invader!

Our sacrifice stopped the invader!

They shall not reach the Volga,
Stalingrad resists!

We endured this long winter
the hunger, then the snow, was their hell
Comrade Timoshenko, remember those who died
for the red flag, for the proletariat!

For the red flag, for the proletariat!

They shall not reach the Volga,
Stalingrad resists!
