Gaza's Protest Song

Richard Marot
Lingua: Inglese

What right do you have for forbidding people
Of their only way for getting a better life
They must spend their few money just to live
But nowadays they can't because of your blame.

And I believe that you're selfish men with no name
Because people don't deserve this sad poverty
This tragedy is a proof of the money's power
Because money is always in the coward men's pocket.

People leave their sweet home for getting food
And they must travel to another wealthy country
Because of the stupid politics which defend a long war
But many other people live in their saddest mood
Because they have not enough money to leave their poverty
And they will die in their abandoned hell, oh, Lord!

But I hope that one day, this protest song
It will be heard so well and so long
That the old wish of a good life
Will destroy the politicians' war
And I hope that this stuff remains in the whole world
And Jews and Palestinians will be friends at last.

Because they will have already forgotten their long war
I can promise you that this day is not very far
Because people start to be so tired
Of living in this ugly world!
But for the moment, in the grease
Sky of the Gaza's precipice...

People leave their sweet home for getting food
And they must travel to another wealthy country
Because of the stupid politics which defend a long war
But many other people live in their saddest mood
Because they have not enough money to leave their poverty
And they will die in their abandoned hell, oh, Lord!
