Break the Siege

Anonymous
Language: English

We set the sail before the dawn
With mercy riding every wave
across the sea where silence grows
and voices cry from Gaza’s cage.
The banners raise not made of steel
but stitched from hope we dare reveal.
A boat of bread, a heart of fire,
Our compass pointing to desire.

We are the wind, we are the sea,
we are the ones who still believe.
You can stop our ships, but not the dream.
The Freedom Flotilla will always breathe.
Carry the light through the darkest tide.
With love as our armor, we will rise.
For every child who sleeps in fear,
Freedom Flotilla , we are near.

They came with warnings, guns in hand
to guard the chains across the sand.
But we brought medicine and songs
to heal the place that bleeds too long.
No flag of war above our head.
Just names of martyrs, tears unsaid.
For every wall they build in vain
We sail again through storm and flame.

We are the wind We are the sea.
We are the ones who still believe.
You can stop our ships, but not the dream.
The Freedom Flotilla will always breathe
Carry the light through the darkest tide.
With love as our armor we will rise.
For every soul that's been denied.
Freedom Flotilla sails with pride.

Oh, history may write us down as rebels,
fools our battleground.
But truth is carved in every wave.
The heart will sail what fear can't brave.
We are the wind. We are the sea.
We are the voice of dignity.
You can sink our ships but not the flame.
The Freedom Flotilla still remain.
We'll sail for peace. We'll sail for right.
Through storm blockade and endless night.
For every shore that longs to heal.
Freedom Flotilla, we are real.
