Kasap in turco ottomano significa macellaio, analogamente χασάπης [hasápis] in greco. Derivano dall’aramaico ܩܰܨܳܒܳܐ‎ [qaṣṣābā] e dall’arabo قَصَّاب [qaṣṣāb].

SULLE ISOLE DESERTE DELLA TRISTEZZA

Appena trovo quattro spade

Appena trovo quattro candele

IN DRY ISLANDS OF SORROW

Where to find four swords?
And a torch at the hand?
To set it on fire today
and burn it entirely
The world that I loved so much,
abandoned me, and let me rot

I woke up to the bitterness,
I shared my tears
In life's prison
where there is no Sunday
I have never forgotten
loneliness, the murderess

And you appeared overnight,
To warm my heart
Then you left me, all alone
in the depth of the winter
You deceived and spat on me
You were happy and you faded away

Where to find four candles?
and faith in my soul?
To set it on fire today
and burn it entirely
The world that I loved so much,
which abandoned me and let me rot

and I rotted
and I loved
and I rotted

AUF DEN ÖDEN INSELN DER BITTERKEIT

Wo soll ich vier Schwerter finden
und eine Kerze in der Faust
ich will heute Feuer legen

ich will schnell Feuer legen

me traicionaste y me escupiste,
eras mi alegría y te esfumaste.

¿Dónde encontraría cuatro velas
y certeza para mi alma?
Fuego encendería rápido
y quemaría hoy
el propio mundo que amé
y que me dejó, y me pudrí.
