Ricordo ancora l'attimo in cui la pallottola mi ha trafitto.
Forse era meglio venire arrestato per quel vecchio furto invece di arruolarmi.
Forse era meglio stare in cella piuttosto che sotto terra.
E ora sopra di me c'è una lapide con la scritta "Caduto per la patria".
Che cosa vorrà dire?
