2) Dachau: vicino a Monaco di Baviera, fu il primo campo di concentramento nazista, aperto il 22 marzo 1933 su iniziativa di Heinrich Himmler, ad un mese appena dalla salita al potere di Hitler.
3) Flanders is a corpse under flowers: riferimento alla carneficina della Grande Guerra, di cui una buona parte consumata proprio nelle Fiandre.
4) Burger King: catena di fast food nata in Florida nel 1954, poco più di un decennio dopo McDonald.

6) Athena: catena commerciale inglese, oggi scomparsa (ma vive ancora nel Web), famosa soprattutto per la sua produzione di poster e cartoline artistiche.
