Originally this song was part of a collection of songs for the youth in the island of Puerto Rico, written in the Taino tongue, which had the intention of bringing children back to their national roots and it also taught them love, unity and promoted religious tolerance. It was also part of the Folkloric Christmas Album.

Now this song is a cry and a prayer for the recognition and the reclamation of Taino rights in the Caribbean.

Originariamente questa canzone (La Preghiera del Padre) faceva parte di una collezione di musiche per i giovani nell'isola di Puerto Rico, scritta in lingua Taino, aveva l'intenzione di portare ai bambini alle sue radici nazionali ed insegnavano l'amore, la unità e promosso la tolleranza religiosa. Questa canzone e' stata anche parte d'un Album di Natale folclorico.

Ora è anche una canzone ed una preghiera per il riconoscimento e la lotta per i diritti dei Taino nel Caraibi.

Wuamí-ke-ní, Wuamí-caraya-güey,
guarico Wakíá tayno-tí, bo-matún;
busicá wakíá para-yucubía, ajé-cazabi;
Juracán-uá, Maboya-uá, Yukayú-ján;
Dios á naboria daca.
