Arcobaleni appesi ai balconi
parole sprecate nelle televisioni
non volendo affrontare i veri problemi
ognuno fornisce le sue soluzioni
uno straccio al vento per la coscienza
non e’ un “no!” concreto alla violenza
perché’ pace non sarà
finché’ un fucile continuerà a far morire
contro la guerra non basta una bandiera!

Cosa facevi prima del conflitto
mentre i generali pianificavano tutto
fabbriche di morte producevano armi
e imprenditori facevano i conti
dov’e’ nascosto il tuo animo buono
mentre la guerra e’ il pane quotidiano
insensibilizzati dalle abitudini
anestetizzati dalle televisioni

AGAINST WAR A FLAG IS NOT ENOUGH

Against war a flag is not enough
Hanged rainbows on balconies
wasted words on televisions
without confronting true problems
everyone gives its solutions
a rag in the wind as coscience
it’s not a con-crete “no!” to violence
because it won’t be peace as soon as a gun
will keep on kil-ling
Against war a flag it’s not enough

What have you done before the conflict
while generals were planning all, dead factories were producing arms
and entre-preneurs were balncing accounts
where’s your good heart hidden
while war is the daily bread?
made insensitives by habits
anaesthetized by televisions

A new hell brough by the glorious mother country went in Iraq to take part into the destruc-tion ballet hidden by the infamous and liar work of massmedia for the planetary government of the multinational industry as pigs to the slaughter you send youth to die while you sniff cocaine sitting on armchairs you walk proud between your body-guards: bitches without dignity payed to suck your cock!

You build this economy spreading hate and pain
and it’s between piles of dead bodies that the tricolour flag flyes
Blood it’s only a stain between the other colours
Country mother of deads.
