Not the Same, but Equal

Lyrics & Music by Paul Ethix
It's a so called culturally diverse world
If this is true then tell me why's there so much hate?
Profiled prejudice, demeaning stereotypes
These are not the makings -of a better world!

Are we so dumb and foolish as to take a social Darwinist approach to racial discrimination?
How does your country, colour, or religion make you any more or less a human than the rest?

We may not be the same – but we are equal
Don't try to assimilate (Don't melt the pot)

Hate and fear starts and ends with the individual
Politically and socially incorrect but what does it change?
It can only end with me,
It can only end with you..

We may not be the same – but we are equal
Don't try to assimilate (Don't melt the pot..)
'Cause we are not the same, but equal individuals
Accept our differences, 'cause we're not.. the same.
