Mr American President
man stop being violent
September Eleventh 3000 people died
but bombing Afghanistan is unjustified
once you have finished off Iraq
which non-white country will you next attack
in your military's economic
cycle of global violence?
violence is always wrong
'cause violence is always wrong
we want a ceasefire
hold your fire, George
stop your killing
we want to be living in peace

plotting to seize the Caspian sea's
profit opportunities for oil companies
piping through Pakistanis'/Afghanis' territory
fueling military machinery for another century
getting free publicity for the arms industry
securing complicity with TV trickery
suffocating we will be before the Caspian is empty
turn off the ignition key on your warmongery

calling yourself a Christian
but Jesus never used ammunition
just because Saddam
is no longer friends with your dad
must you drop uranium bombs on Baghdad?
are you really a hero?
or just a white man with a big ego,
a global television network, a lot of money,
and the biggest guns that money can buy?
guns are always wrong 'cause guns are always wrong
we want a ceasefire
hold your fire, George
stop your killing
we want to be living in peace

is there room for peace and reconciliation
in between oil, arms and television profit margins?
where has Osama Bin Laden gone?
can we take a look inside the pentagon?
you call this a War on Terror
but the third world is so terrified
they're paying interest @ 3000 kids/day
to keep your debt collectors at bay
war is always wrong 'cause war is always wrong
we want a ceasefire
hold your fire, George
stop your killing
we want to be living in peace.
