BeloThaPoet... Alex is a rapper from Perth (AUSTRALIA).Started writing poetry a few years ago.. moved into writing a couple of songs and then recorded a couple as some fun..
Well there's no band.. just me. My style of rap started with my poetry.. I mean I can't even pretend to be a "gangsta" rapper living in Perth, Australia right?
Just trying to keep it real, I think people can really feel and relate to what I say. That's all I'm trying to do... Honesty is sometimes embarassing for people but if you can't say how you feel in your music then you're saying nothing...
Why this name?
Hmm I can't even remember.. been so long since I used Belo as a pen name and well.. I'm a poet so it just followed
Do you play live?
Nah.. I'm not that good..
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
Gives exposure to unsigned artists and makes music much more world wiiiide.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Hell yea.. but that ain't ever gonna happen lol
