Although the song has to be credited collectively to Taboo (from Black Eyed Peas) & the Magnificent 7 (Mag 7), Taboo posted it on Youtube, highlighting the Mag 7 collective and taking a step back himself. The collective was brought together a first time by Taboo in 2016 on the occasion of a first music video, "Stand up / Stand N Rock" released to support the #No DAPL protests at Standing Rock. The name of the collective made his first appearance on the occasion of the MTV Video Music Awards in August 2017, where " Taboo & ‘Magnificent Seven’ " won an Award for their Standing Rock Song.
