[1] GAP è sigla di “Gruppi di Azione Patriottica”. Da molti tale sigla viene intesa come “Gruppi di Azione Partigiana”, ma si tratta di una denominazione sbagliata seppure assai diffusa. Si tende, come in altri casi in italiano, a farne un sostantivo femminile: “La GAP”, allo stesso modo -ad esempio- de “La TAV”. [2] Si veda l’introduzione. E’ possibile che le modalità dell’azione siano state (forse volutamente) confuse con un’altra azione dei GAP avvenuta a Torino, ma ancora non è stato possibile appurarlo. Per tutto il resto della canzone, l'episodio raccontato si riferisce chiaramente all'eliminazione di Cesare Cesarini, avvenuta a Milano il 16 marzo 1945.
