La band dei fratelli Young lancia con questa canzone il messaggio "fate l'amore, non fate la guerra" nello stile ironico e goliardico che li contraddistingue. L'ambiguità fra tematiche sessuali e militari ("heatseeker" è un sistema di guida dei missili che si basa sul rilevamento di fonti di calore), che permea l'intero testo della canzone, viene ampliata nel videoclip, girato da David Mallet ed evidentemente ispirato al film "Il dottor Stranamore" di Stanley Kubrick.
In esso vediamo Angus Young che, durante una performance all'Opera House di Sydney, scatena inavvertitamente il lancio di missili intercontinentali. Verso la fine del video, uno di essi penetra proprio nella sala del concerto. Dall'ogiva rossa della testata (nel caso le metafore sessuali non fossero abbastanza esplicite...) esce lo stesso Angus Young che conclude la sua esibizione raccogliendo il consueto bagno di folla.
