Sleater-Kinney

Sleater-Kinney (pronounced SLAYter KIN'ee) is an indie rock trio originally from Olympia, Washington influenced by the riot grrrl movement of the 1990s. They currently hail from Portland, Oregon. The name "Sleater-Kinney" is derived from Sleater-Kinney Road in Lacey near Olympia, the location of one of the band's early practice spaces.
